Fight 04:11
There's no need to watch me bleed for sport By making a bad joke at my expense But this is not my fight So I have yet to read the book You clutch by your side but refuse to write But this is not my fight But what is? But what is? Who could I be up against? To compare or contrast like we're still in school And in a way we are Although, you can learn it all and still Still, you sit by the sidelines and pay the dues And this may be my fight
2.
I put my name on it There's no need, I concede, to stake a claim on it But this petty disguise speaks to the value Of the years we've spent in isolation This precisely was the problem Then you stumbled in and trampled over And yet, there is no race, no competition Your sense of justice, superstition The so-called truth, a contradiction Any form of contribution Relative to your situation

Though when you look, you may just see a wilderness But I don't really know, that might be for the best I'd like to have a new perspective Change the place that I live Everything is turning blue but my face is red Oh, that was so not worth it, but I made A profit, or at least that's how I see it Don't believe the spirit's hieroglyphs or make the worst of it Try and make sense of it, you're in the- This out of place-ness preys on those forgotten faces With a certain quickness and a common sickness But to act is not my nature Still, I won't have you do this for me You're in the middle of everything (x4) Such crazy times we live in, isn't that a given? Should's no word of mine, you better Listen to the signs they give you Follow them until they kill you Listen to the signs, you better... In in the middle of everything You're in the middle of everything In the middle of everything The middle of everything Nobody cares about the things that you do It's just the same things we do (x4)

Order Ever 04:25
Are these mechanisms In working order ever? Are these mechanisms Are these mechanisms In working order ever? Are these mechanisms In working order? Are these mechanisms In working order ever? Are these mechanisms In working order ever? I don't believe you've Wasted, wasted, wasted As much time as you think Though you resign yourself to The beauty in the small things I understand what you mean I don't believe you've Wasted, wasted, wasted As much time as you think Though you resign yourself to The beauty in the small things When they agree with you I don't believe you've Wasted, wasted, wasted As much time as you think Though you resign yourself to The beauty in the small things I understand what you mean I don't believe you've Wasted, wasted, wasted As much time as you think Though you resign yourself to The beauty in the small things When they agree with you already Are you in working order ever? Mechanisms never, working order ever They made a second season for no reason

Where do the real ones go to They take a hike to get to Where do the real ones go to Whoever they are, or seem to be Not at the mat-mor aisle at the local library, oh Where do the real ones go to I'm coming out of hiding Where do the real ones go to Whoever they are, or seem to be The ones I like don't need a thing But they like to disappear, oh Who do the real ones go for Where do the gone for ones go Who do the real ones go for Is this worth the trouble, let me think Suffice to say, it won't be easy But I'm on my way Who do the real ones go for Where do the gone for ones go Who do the real ones go for Wherever they are or seem to be Somebody with a straighter spine Who never gets frustrated Who do the real ones go for Where do the gone for ones go Who do the real ones go for Wherever the are, or seem to be The ones I like don't need a thing But they like to disappear, oh Where do the real ones go to Where do the real ones go to Where do the real ones go to Whoever they are or seem to be Or seem to be Or seem to be

Small affirmations A meaningless, simple phrase Still waters run deep Said script printed on the side Of a Sri Lankan car You are wrapped in a cloud as a tempestuous rift has unwound A proverbial drive may just give you the will to survive To survive Don't put your foot down Until you'll be satisfied See how you like it as You watch the the water rise In your Sri Lankan Car (Still waters run deep said) Go for a drive (Still waters run deep said) Go for a drive Who said it was unwise only to advertise what I've found? That it would be such a terrible thing, but not how But not how (Still waters run deep, said Still waters run deep, said)

Every slow and simple day Passes by to leave the mind I'm forgetful as they come But I know my life is long 'Tis a faulty memory Feel so bad for wasting time You are older than you know But I don't know Indeed, we have arrived And now I'll ask you to Describe what comes to mind There it goes, another year Full of absent-minded fun Did it run away from you? Do you need someone to blame? Am I so desensitized, Flying solo? Indeed, we have arrived And now I'll ask you to Describe what comes to mind Describe to me what comes to mind Indeed, we have arrived And now I'll ask you to Describe what comes to mind Don't let your thoughts define

They with no agenda sat Stalking their playbook Of empty pages They with inspiration tried Writing something down But nothing came What is it that's worth it to say? Another day and yet Another empty page Another empty page Maybe for a price we'll play With a deck of cards Discuss an open door A statue of a horse What is it that's worth it to say? I had a good idea But it's getting late It's always getting late In my head it sounded great I had a good idea But it's getting late It's always getting late What is it that's worth it to say? I had a good idea But it's getting late It's always getting late In my head it sounded great I had a good idea But it's getting late It's always getting late

Florence 03:39
Cataclysm came and went Do we play hide and seek that way? Could just be a windy day Sometimes it rains And sometimes it has a name 'Tis all the same I'm back on my feet Switching up the spare All full of air As the seasons did unwind Seldom did the spring remind Of but an honest enterprise What can you do Wait for another day Out of the way Florence asked me why Chased me to the eye Inside the head All in the head Where shall this vessel go? Empty parking lot, land-ho Shirking sleep, vibrating low Row your boat, you Rochambeau Sometimes I still think of you But not as much as I used to

about

It feels so long since I've had a new album to offer. I intended to finish this months ago but it needed time, and naturally so; patience has been a major theme in my life recently.

It's peculiar composing and recording an entire album from your bedroom. But there's something about it I like. I've warmed up to the idea of unlimited studio time without the interviews, photoshoots, lawsuits, or endless tours. It's like filling a small space to the brim with your stuff, and choosing how to organize what fits in there and figure out what you're going to do with the rest of it.

I offer my gratitude to the very same folks I named last time around, and my hope is that you find something of interest here.
